Majors at WIT with certificates
On 16 March 2016 in the Ball Hall at the Tyszkieicz-Potocki Palace at the University of Warsaw the glamorous gala party of 1st edition of Nationwide Accreditation Program “Studying with future” took place. It is organized together with the Foundation for the Development of the Education and Higher Education and Creation Agency PRC.
Bachelor and Master studies as well as post-graduate studies which are conducted according to modern and innovative educational programs, well adjusted to the needs of labor market, according to expectations of social and economic environment were honored by organizers with the certificate “Studying with future”. Quality certification “Studying with future” was granted to those fields of studies which base their curricula on three keystones: striving to share state of the art knowledge, creating abilities and social competences demanded by employers and investing in the highest quality of education.
Among the awarded with the certificate „Studying with future” at WIT are the following majors:
The Faculty of Computer Techniques of Management

Faculty of Computer Science
- Graphics – Bachelor studies
- Computer science – Bachelor studies
Additionally, Bachelor studies at the faculty of Computer Techniques of Management were awarded with the extraordinary certificate “The Leader of the Quality of Education”.
Experts who evaluated the study curricula nominated for accreditation “Studying with future” were analyzing among others the innovativeness of educational results adopted by high schools, teaching methods, forms and scope of cooperation of a school with employers. The fact whether the schools, educating students, emphasize the abilities and competences appreciated by business circles, like communication skills, independence, creativity, language qualifications is also very important.
Professor Janusz Kacprzyk was awarded a special medal for his contributions to the founding and functioning of the European Centre of Soft Computing in Mieres, Hiszpania
Professor Janusz Kacprzyk was awarded a special medal for his contributions to the founding and functioning of the European Centre of Soft Computing in Mieres, Hiszpania. The Centre is an important research establishment in the field of computational intelligence. It is a unique institution carrying on both theoretical and applied research that is financed practically only from non-public sources, national and european reserach grants, and contracts with institutions and commercial companies. Professor Kacprzyk was 6 years a member of the Scientific Committee of the Centre and a committee granting the prestigious Cajastur International Prize.
